To start the blower, ensure it's on a flat surface. Set the choke lever to the full position, press the primer bulb 5-7 times, and pull the starter rope firmly. Once it starts, move the choke to the run position.
Check the fuel level and ensure fresh fuel is used. Inspect the spark plug for damage or wear, and clean or replace it if necessary. Verify that the air filter is clean and properly installed.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Wash it with soapy water, rinse, and let it dry completely before reinstalling. Replace the filter if it's damaged or excessively dirty.
Use a 40:1 ratio of unleaded gasoline to 2-cycle engine oil. Mix thoroughly before fueling the blower.
Remove the air filter and the carburetor cover. Use a carburetor cleaner spray to remove residues and clogs, ensuring all parts are clean. Reassemble after cleaning.
Check for loose parts and tighten them. Inspect the impeller for damage or imbalance and replace if necessary. Ensure the blower tube is securely attached.
Regularly check and clean the air filter, inspect the spark plug, ensure all screws and nuts are tightened, and examine the fuel system for leaks or damage.
Empty the fuel tank and run the blower until it stops to clear the carburetor. Clean the blower thoroughly and store it in a dry, cool place. Consider using a fuel stabilizer if storing with fuel.
Check the air filter and spark plug for dirt or wear. Ensure the fuel mixture is correct and inspect the exhaust for blockages. Regular maintenance can prevent power loss.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, remove the old spark plug with a wrench, and replace it with a new one. Ensure the new spark plug is gapped correctly and tighten it securely.
