To start the blower, ensure it is on a flat surface. Set the choke lever to the full choke position, press the primer bulb 5-6 times until fuel is visible, and pull the starter rope until the engine starts. Move the choke lever to the halfway position once it starts, allowing the engine to warm up.
Use a 40:1 gasoline to oil ratio. Mix 3.2 ounces of 2-cycle synthetic oil with one gallon of unleaded gasoline. Ensure the mixture is well-stirred before use.
Regularly clean the air filter and replace it if it's damaged. Check the spark plug for wear and replace it annually. Inspect the fuel filter and use fresh fuel mixed at the correct ratio.
Check the fuel level and ensure it's fresh. Inspect the spark plug for fouling or damage and replace it if necessary. Verify that the air filter is clean and the choke lever is in the correct starting position.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and wash it in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and let it dry completely before reinstalling. Ensure the filter is in good condition before use.
Empty the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops to clear the carburetor. Clean the blower thoroughly and store it in a dry, cool place. Lubricate metal parts to prevent rust.
Disconnect the spark plug wire and remove the old spark plug using a spark plug socket. Install the new spark plug, ensuring it is gapped correctly, and reconnect the spark plug wire.
Excessive vibration can be caused by a clogged air filter, loose parts, or an unbalanced impeller. Check and clean the air filter, tighten any loose screws, and inspect the impeller for damage.
Ensure the air filter is clean and the fuel mixture is correct. Check the exhaust for blockages and inspect the spark plug for signs of wear or carbon buildup.
Check for a dirty air filter or fuel filter, and inspect the spark plug. Ensure the fuel is fresh and mixed correctly. Adjust the carburetor settings if necessary.
