To descale the Carlton K2100 kettle, fill it with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar. Boil the solution and leave it to sit for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Ensure the kettle is properly plugged in and the power outlet is functioning. Check if the lid is securely closed and the kettle is placed correctly on its base. If the issue persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
Use a damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the kettle. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to prevent damage to the surface.
Leaving water in the kettle overnight is generally safe, but it may lead to mineral buildup over time. It's recommended to empty the kettle after each use to maintain cleanliness.
Ensure the kettle is completely dry before storing it. Wrap the cord around the base and store the kettle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
The Carlton K2100 kettle is designed for boiling water only. Boiling other liquids can damage the kettle and void the warranty.
Some noise is normal as the water heats up and boils. If the noise is excessive or unusual, check for limescale buildup or contact customer support.
The Carlton K2100 kettle will automatically switch off and an indicator light will turn off when the water has boiled.
The maximum capacity of the Carlton K2100 kettle is 1.7 liters. Do not overfill as it may cause boiling water to spill.
Descale the kettle every 4-6 weeks, or more frequently if you live in an area with hard water, to ensure optimal performance.
