To turn on the Carlton FH4100 Heater, plug it into a power outlet and switch the power button located on the side to the 'ON' position. Adjust the thermostat dial to your desired temperature setting.
Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into an outlet and the power switch is turned on. Check if the thermostat is set to a temperature higher than the current room temperature. If the problem persists, refer to the troubleshooting section of the user manual.
First, unplug the heater and let it cool down. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For the vents, use a vacuum with a brush attachment to remove dust. Do not use water or any liquid cleaners.
The heater is equipped with an overheat protection system and a safety tip-over switch, which automatically shuts off the heater if it overheats or is accidentally knocked over.
The Carlton FH4100 Heater is not designed for use in damp or wet locations such as bathrooms. For safety reasons, avoid using it near water sources.
Turn off the heater and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on. Adjust the settings as needed.
It is normal for the heater to make a slight noise when starting as the internal components heat up. If the noise is loud or unusual, check for obstructions in the fan or contact customer support.
To maximize energy efficiency, ensure windows and doors are closed to prevent heat loss. Lower the thermostat setting to the lowest comfortable level and use the heater in smaller, enclosed spaces.
The Carlton FH4100 Heater requires a standard 120V AC power outlet. Ensure that the outlet is not overloaded with other high-power appliances.
Regular inspection is recommended at the beginning of each heating season. Check for any signs of damage or wear and ensure the power cord and plug are in good condition.
