To enable RAW shooting mode, turn on your camera and set the mode dial to 'P', 'Tv', 'Av', or 'M'. Press the 'FUNC/SET' button, navigate to the recording format, and select 'RAW'.
First, ensure the battery is charged and properly inserted. If the camera still won’t turn on, try using a different battery. If the issue persists, contact Canon support.
You can transfer photos by connecting the camera to your computer with a USB cable, or by removing the memory card and using a card reader. Ensure you have the necessary software installed to recognize the camera or card.
To reset the camera, press the 'MENU' button, navigate to the 'Tools' tab, and select 'Reset All'. Follow the prompts to confirm the reset.
To extend battery life, reduce screen brightness, disable continuous autofocus, use the viewfinder instead of the LCD when possible, and turn off the camera when not in use.
Use a blower to remove dust, then gently clean with a microfiber cloth. If needed, use lens cleaning solution applied to the cloth, not directly on the lens.
Blurry photos can be caused by camera shake, incorrect focus, or low light. Use a tripod, ensure autofocus is locked, and consider increasing the ISO or using a flash.
The Canon PowerShot S95 does not support hot shoe attachments for external flashes, but you can use an off-camera flash setup with optical triggers.
To improve low-light performance, increase the ISO setting, use a larger aperture, or attach the camera to a steady surface or tripod to prevent shake.
To update firmware, download the latest version from Canon's website, copy it to a formatted memory card, and follow on-screen instructions after inserting the card into the camera.
