To start the tractor, ensure that the parking brake is engaged, the PTO is disengaged, and the throttle is set to choke. Turn the ignition key to the start position until the engine starts, then release the key.
Check the fuel level, ensure that the spark plug is clean and properly connected, and verify that the battery is charged. If the issue persists, consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
Change the oil every 50 hours of operation or at the start of each mowing season, whichever comes first. Always use the oil type specified in the owner's manual.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using ethanol blends greater than 10%, as they may damage the engine.
Ensure that the tire pressure is equal on all sides and that the mower deck is level. Check the condition of the blades and sharpen or replace them if necessary.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, and add fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank. Remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
Locate the air filter housing, remove the cover, and take out the old filter. Insert a new filter, ensuring it is seated correctly, and replace the cover securely.
Check for debris lodged in the mower deck and ensure that the blades are balanced and securely fastened. Inspect the engine mounts and replace them if they are worn or damaged.
Ensure regular maintenance like changing the oil, replacing air filters, and keeping the blades sharp. Avoid overloading the tractor and maintain recommended tire pressure for optimal performance.
Ensure the tractor is off and the spark plug wire is disconnected. Use a garden hose to remove grass clippings and debris from the underside of the deck. For stubborn debris, use a scrape tool carefully.
