Ensure the tractor is on a flat surface, set the parking brake, move the throttle to the choke position, and turn the ignition key to start the engine. Once it starts, adjust the throttle to the desired speed.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 40°F and SAE 10W-30 for variable temperatures. Make sure to check the oil level before each use.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is clean and properly connected, check the air filter for blockages, and make sure the battery is charged.
Perform oil changes every 50 hours of operation, replace air filters every 100 hours, and inspect the spark plug every 100 hours. Check the tire pressure and blades regularly.
Disconnect the spark plug, lift the tractor safely, remove the blade bolts, replace with new blades ensuring the sharp edge is facing the correct direction, and securely tighten the bolts.
Check if the air filter is clean, ensure the oil level is not too high, and check for any oil leaks around the engine. Clean or replace components as necessary.
Locate the cutting height adjustment lever, typically near the operator's seat, and move it to the desired height setting. Ensure both sides are set equally for an even cut.
Inspect the blades for damage or imbalance, check the tire pressure, and ensure all bolts and fasteners are secure. Replace or repair any damaged parts.
Regularly maintain the engine, keep the air filter clean, use the recommended oil type, and avoid overloading the tractor during operation.
Ensure the blades are sharp and properly installed, check the deck for obstructions, and adjust the cutting height to suit the grass length and type.
