Use SAE 30 oil above 40°F (4°C) and 10W-30 below 40°F (4°C) for optimal engine performance. Always check the oil level before each use.
The air filter should be checked before each use and replaced every 25 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected and clean, and verify the battery is charged. Also, inspect the air filter for cleanliness.
Ensure the blades are sharp and balanced, the tires are properly inflated, and the deck is clean from debris. Adjust the cutting height appropriately for the grass type.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 14 psi and for the rear tires is 10 psi. Check the pressure regularly to ensure optimal performance.
Check if the mower deck is level, ensure the blades are sharp and balanced, and inspect the tire pressure. Adjusting these elements can improve mowing performance.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, replace the air filter, sharpen or replace blades, and store the tractor in a dry, covered area. Disconnect the battery if storing for an extended period.
Use the mower deck adjustment lever located on the tractor to raise or lower the deck to the desired cutting height. Ensure the deck is level side to side for an even cut.
Check for loose bolts on the mower deck and engine components, inspect the blades for damage or imbalance, and ensure the belts are properly tensioned.
