Check the battery connections for corrosion or looseness, ensure there's fuel in the tank, and verify the spark plug is in good condition. Also, ensure the safety switches are engaged.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 50 hours or once per season. Always use the recommended oil type and replace the oil filter as needed.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 14 psi and for the rear tires is 10 psi. Check the tire pressure regularly to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure the blades are sharp and balanced. Adjust the cutting height to match the grass conditions and mow when the grass is dry. Clean the deck regularly to prevent grass buildup.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, fill the fuel tank and add a fuel stabilizer, and remove the battery for storage in a cool, dry place. Cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
Check if the blades are sharp and properly aligned. Ensure the tire pressure is even and adjust the deck level if necessary. Clear any debris from the mower deck that might obstruct blade operation.
After each use, clean the mower deck to prevent grass buildup, check for loose bolts and nuts, and inspect the blades for wear or damage. Also, ensure the air filter is clean and free of debris.
Locate the cutting height adjustment lever, usually near the driver's seat or on the side of the tractor. Move the lever to the desired height setting, ensuring it clicks into place for a secure adjustment.
Inspect the blades for damage or imbalance, check if all bolts and nuts are tightened, and ensure the engine mounts are secure. Excessive vibration can also result from worn or damaged belts.
