Ensure the tractor is on a flat surface, engage the parking brake, place the throttle in the 'Start' position, and turn the ignition key to the 'Start' position.
Check the fuel level, battery charge, spark plug condition, and ensure that the safety interlocks are engaged.
Warm up the engine, place a pan under the oil drain plug, remove the plug, drain the oil, replace the plug, and refill with new oil as per the manufacturer's specifications.
Use clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using ethanol blends greater than 10%.
Regularly sharpen and balance the blades, keep the underside of the deck clean, and mow with the throttle at full speed.
Excessive vibration may be due to unbalanced blades, loose parts, or damaged pulleys. Inspect and repair as necessary.
Check tire pressure, ensure blades are sharp and balanced, and verify the deck is level. Adjust as needed.
Perform an oil change every 50 hours, check the air filter every 25 hours, and inspect the blades and belts regularly. Consult the manual for a detailed schedule.
Clean the tractor, change the oil, remove the battery, add a fuel stabilizer to the tank, and cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
Check the PTO switch, inspect belts for wear, and ensure the deck is properly connected to the tractor. Replace or repair as necessary.
