Ensure the tractor is on a flat surface, engage the parking brake, set the throttle to choke, turn the ignition key to the start position, and release once the engine starts.
Perform oil changes every 50 hours of operation, replace the air filter annually, and check the spark plug, blades, and belts every 25 hours.
Check the battery charge, ensure the fuel is fresh, inspect the spark plug for wear, and verify that the safety switches are engaged properly.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 40°F, and 10W-30 for varying temperatures between 0°F and 100°F.
Ensure the tractor is off and parked on a level surface, remove the deck as per the manual instructions, use a wrench to remove the blade bolts, replace with new blades, and tighten securely.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced blades, loose bolts, or worn out bearings. Inspect and balance the blades, tighten any loose fittings, and replace bearings if necessary.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, add fuel stabilizer to the tank, disconnect the battery, and cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
Stop the tractor immediately, check for debris blocking the air filter or cooling fins, ensure the oil level is adequate, and inspect the cooling system for leaks.
Check the tire pressure before each use to ensure optimal performance and prevent uneven tire wear.
Locate the cutting height adjustment lever on the mower deck, lift or lower the lever to the desired position, ensuring it locks into place securely.
