To change the oil, first warm up the engine. Stop the engine and remove the oil fill cap. Place a suitable container under the oil drain plug, then remove the plug. Allow the oil to drain completely. Replace the drain plug and fill with new oil through the oil fill cap opening.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 40°F (4°C) or SAE 5W-30 synthetic oil for a broader temperature range. Always refer to the operator's manual for the recommended oil type.
Check the battery connections for cleanliness and tightness. Ensure the fuel tank has fresh fuel. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Check the air filter for clogs.
Stop the engine immediately. Check for proper oil level and add oil if needed. Inspect the cooling fins for debris and clean if necessary. Ensure the air filter is not clogged.
Replace the spark plug every 100 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first, to ensure optimal engine performance.
Clean the tractor thoroughly. Drain the fuel system or add fuel stabilizer. Change the oil and replace the oil filter. Remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
Locate the cutting height adjustment lever on the tractor. Move the lever to the desired cutting height position. Ensure the deck is level by adjusting the deck leveling screws if necessary.
Inspect the air filter every 25 hours of operation. Clean it by tapping gently to remove debris. Replace the air filter annually or if it is damaged or excessively dirty.
Check the tire pressure to ensure it is even on all sides. Inspect the mower deck for obstructions or damage. Adjust the deck leveling screws to ensure the deck is level. Sharpen or replace the mower blades if they are dull or damaged.
Check the battery terminals for corrosion and clean them if necessary. Ensure the battery connections are tight. Test the battery with a multimeter to ensure it holds a charge. If the battery is faulty, replace it. Check the charging system for any issues.
