To connect your Z2 to a Wi-Fi network, use the Bowers & Wilkins Control app available for iOS and Android. Follow the in-app instructions to select your network and enter the password.
First, check the power cable and ensure it is firmly connected to both the speaker and the power outlet. If it still doesn't turn on, try a different outlet or check for any tripped circuit breakers.
To reset the Z2, press and hold the reset button located at the back of the device for approximately 10 seconds until the LED indicator flashes.
Ensure that both the Z2 speaker and your Apple device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Restart both devices and try reconnecting. If the problem persists, consider resetting the network settings on your device.
Use the Bowers & Wilkins Control app to check for firmware updates. If an update is available, the app will guide you through the installation process. Ensure your speaker remains powered during the update.
Check the volume level on both the speaker and your audio source. Distortion can occur if the volume is too high. Also, ensure that the speaker is not placed too close to walls or other objects that might affect sound quality.
Ensure that your Wi-Fi router is placed in an open area and not obstructed by walls or large objects. Reducing interference from other wireless devices and updating your router's firmware can also help improve connection stability.
Yes, you can connect your Z2 to devices using the auxiliary input with a 3.5mm audio cable, allowing you to play music directly from non-Wi-Fi enabled devices.
Regularly dust the exterior of the Z2 with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using any cleaning agents or water. Ensure the ventilation openings are not blocked to maintain optimal performance.
The Bowers & Wilkins Z2 does not support stereo pairing. However, you can simultaneously connect multiple Z2 speakers to a single audio source using AirPlay if your device supports multi-room audio.
