To set up the Audio-Technica ATW-901 Wireless System, first connect the receiver to a power source and your audio system. Turn on the receiver and transmitter, and ensure they are set to the same frequency. Adjust the volume and squelch settings as needed.
If you experience interference, try changing the channel on both the transmitter and receiver. Ensure other wireless devices in the area are not on the same frequency.
To improve range, position the receiver in a location with minimal obstructions and at an elevated height. Ensure that transmitter and receiver antennas are fully extended.
Use high-quality alkaline or rechargeable batteries and turn off the transmitter when not in use to conserve battery life. Regularly check and replace batteries as needed.
Connect the audio output of the ATW-901 receiver to an available input on your audio mixer using an appropriate cable (e.g., XLR or 1/4" cable). Adjust the input levels on the mixer accordingly.
The squelch control adjusts the receiver's sensitivity to weak signals. Increasing squelch can help reduce noise and interference, but may also reduce range.
Ensure the microphone is positioned correctly, adjust the gain settings appropriately, and minimize interference by choosing a clear frequency.
Check that the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. If the issue persists, try replacing the batteries or check for battery compartment corrosion.
Intermittent audio drops can be caused by interference or low battery. Try changing the frequency, relocating the receiver, or replacing the transmitter batteries.
Clean the system with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquids or solvents. Store the components in a dry, cool place, and remove batteries if the system will not be used for an extended period.
