To connect your Roborock Vacuum to Wi-Fi, ensure the vacuum is charged and turned on. Open the Mi Home app, tap on the '+' to add a new device, and select your Roborock model. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
If your Roborock gets stuck frequently, check for obstacles on the floor and remove any cables or small objects. Consider using virtual walls or no-go zones in the app to restrict access to troublesome areas.
To maintain the brushes and filters, remove and clean the main brush and side brush weekly, and replace them every 6-12 months. Clean the filter with water monthly and replace it every 3-6 months. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembly.
If your Roborock is not charging, check the charging contacts on both the dock and the vacuum for dirt or obstruction. Ensure the power cable is securely connected to the dock and plugged into a power outlet.
To schedule cleaning times, open the Mi Home app, select your Roborock, and navigate to the scheduling option. Set the desired time, days of the week, and cleaning mode. Save your schedule to automate the cleaning process.
If the mapping is inaccurate, ensure the vacuum has a clear path and sufficient lighting. Restart the mapping process by resetting the map in the app, and allow the Roborock to complete a full cleaning cycle to generate a new map.
To perform a factory reset, press and hold the 'Reset' button located under the top cover of the vacuum for 3-5 seconds until you hear a voice prompt confirming the reset. This will erase all settings and maps.
Unusual noises may indicate debris caught in the brushes or wheels. Inspect the main brush, side brush, and wheels for any obstructions, and clean them as necessary. Regular maintenance can prevent unusual noises.
To improve battery life, ensure regular cleaning of the vacuum's components, as a clean vacuum operates more efficiently. Avoid keeping the vacuum on the charging dock when not in use for extended periods, and perform a full discharge and recharge cycle once a month.
If the Roborock is not returning to the dock, ensure there are no obstacles blocking its path. Verify that the dock is placed on a flat surface with enough clearance on both sides. Restart the vacuum and try the docking process again.
