To connect your Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro to an external monitor, use an HDMI cable. Plug one end into the HDMI port on your notebook and the other end into the monitor. Then, press 'Win + P' to select the display mode.
Ensure your notebook is on a hard, flat surface to allow proper airflow. Check for dust in the vents and clean them if necessary. You can also use a cooling pad and close unnecessary applications to reduce CPU load.
Go to 'Settings' > 'Update & Security' > 'Recovery'. Under 'Reset this PC', click 'Get started', then choose 'Remove everything' for a full factory reset.
Visit the Xiaomi support website to download the latest drivers. Alternatively, use Windows Device Manager to search for driver updates automatically.
Reduce screen brightness, turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use, and use power-saving mode. Regularly calibrate the battery and avoid letting it drain completely.
Uninstall unused programs, disable startup programs, increase RAM if possible, and keep the operating system and drivers updated. Consider using an SSD for faster data access.
Check if the touchpad is disabled in settings. Go to 'Settings' > 'Devices' > 'Touchpad'. Ensure it is turned on. Update the touchpad driver through Device Manager.
Use the built-in Windows Backup tool. Go to 'Settings' > 'Update & Security' > 'Backup' and set up a backup using an external hard drive or cloud storage.
Check for any additional updates that could fix performance issues. Uninstall recent applications that may be causing conflicts, and perform a disk cleanup to remove temporary files.
Turn on Bluetooth in 'Settings' > 'Devices' > 'Bluetooth & other devices'. Click 'Add Bluetooth or other device', select 'Bluetooth', and choose your device from the list to connect.
