To perform a factory reset, go to 'Settings' > 'Device Preferences' > 'Reset'. Confirm by selecting 'Factory data reset'. This will erase all data on your device, so ensure backups are made if necessary.
First, check if the Wi-Fi network is working with other devices. Restart the Mi Box and router. If the issue persists, go to 'Settings' > 'Network' and try re-entering your Wi-Fi credentials.
To update the software, navigate to 'Settings' > 'Device Preferences' > 'About' > 'System update'. If an update is available, follow the prompts to download and install it.
Replace the batteries in the remote. If it still doesn't work, try re-pairing it by holding the 'Home' and 'Back' buttons simultaneously near the Mi Box.
Enable 'Unknown Sources' in 'Settings' > 'Device Preferences' > 'Security & Restrictions'. Use a file manager to sideload APK files from a USB drive or download them directly using a web browser on the Mi Box.
Go to 'Settings' > 'Remote & Accessories' > 'Add Accessory'. Ensure the Bluetooth device is in pairing mode, and select it from the list of available devices to connect.
To clear cache, go to 'Settings' > 'Apps' > select the app > 'Clear Cache'. For overall performance improvement, restart the device regularly and uninstall unused apps.
Ensure the Mi Box is placed in a well-ventilated area. Avoid covering it with objects and keep it away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Regularly check for software updates that may address overheating issues.
Go to 'Settings' > 'Device Preferences' > 'About', then repeatedly press 'Build' until 'You are now a developer' appears. Developer options will be available in the 'Device Preferences' menu.
You can use an HDMI to AV converter to connect the Mi Box to a TV that has AV input. Ensure you select the correct input source on your TV to display the Mi Box interface.
