To connect the Whistler XP150i CUP Power Inverter, plug the inverter into the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket, ensuring it is firmly connected. Make sure the vehicle is turned on to provide power to the inverter.
The Whistler XP150i CUP Power Inverter can power devices such as laptops, tablets, smartphones, small fans, and other electronics that do not exceed 150 watts.
The inverter may shut off if it is overloaded, overheated, or if the battery voltage drops too low. Ensure the connected devices do not exceed 150 watts and that the inverter is properly ventilated.
Regularly check the inverter for dust and debris, ensure that the connections are clean and tight, and avoid exposing the inverter to extreme temperatures or moisture.
If the alarm sounds continuously, it indicates an overload or low battery voltage. Disconnect some devices to reduce the load or check the vehicle's battery voltage.
Using the inverter while the vehicle is off can drain the battery. It is recommended to use it only when the vehicle is running or for short periods with the engine off.
To reset the inverter, disconnect it from the power source for a few minutes, then reconnect it. Ensure all connections are secure and that the load is within the inverter's capacity.
It is not recommended to use the inverter with a power strip as it can lead to overloading. Plug devices directly into the inverter to ensure safe operation.
Ensure the inverter is placed in a well-ventilated area, and do not cover the cooling vents. Avoid using it in direct sunlight or enclosed spaces with poor airflow.
The LED indicator shows the operational status of the inverter. A green light means the inverter is functioning correctly, while a red light or flashing indicates an issue such as overload or low battery.
