To charge the Whistler WIC960S Inspection Camera, connect the included USB cable to the charging port on the device and plug the other end into a USB power adapter or computer. Charging is complete when the LED indicator turns green.
If the camera does not power on, ensure it is fully charged. Check the power button for any damage. If the issue persists, try resetting the device by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds.
To transfer images, connect the camera to your computer using the USB cable. The camera should appear as a removable drive. Open the drive to access and copy your images to your computer.
To clean the camera lens, use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a lens cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that may damage the lens.
To adjust the LED brightness, use the brightness control buttons located on the camera handle. Press the '+' button to increase and the '-' button to decrease the brightness level.
If the image is blurry, ensure the lens is clean and free from obstructions. Adjust the focus by rotating the focus ring on the camera head until the image is clear.
The Whistler WIC960S is water-resistant, allowing for use in damp conditions. However, it should not be submerged in water. Ensure the camera is dried thoroughly after exposure to moisture.
To update the firmware, download the latest firmware from the Whistler website and follow the instructions provided. Typically, this involves copying the firmware file to the camera's memory and restarting the device.
The maximum recording time depends on the available storage and battery life. Ensure you have sufficient storage space and a fully charged battery for extended recording sessions.
To reset the camera to factory settings, navigate to the settings menu and select 'Factory Reset'. Confirm the action when prompted to restore default settings.
