Whirlpool WET4024HW Energy Guide V2

To clean the lint filter, locate it near the dryer drum opening. Pull it out, remove any lint by hand, and rinse under warm water if necessary. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.
Ensure the unit is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Check that both the washer and dryer doors are closed securely. Also, make sure the cycle settings are properly selected and the Start button is pressed.
Use the Wrinkle Shield™ option if available, which periodically tumbles clothes after the cycle ends. Remove clothes promptly after drying and fold or hang them immediately to reduce wrinkles.
Unusual noises could be due to items caught in the drum or between the drum and the tub. Check for loose objects. Ensure the appliance is level and that all shipping bolts have been removed.
Run a cleaning cycle with a washing machine cleaner or a mixture of vinegar and baking soda. Use hot water for the cycle and wipe down the inside of the drum with a clean cloth afterwards.
The "Sensing" light indicates that the washer is determining the correct water level for the load. This is a normal part of the wash cycle.
Refer to the user manual for load size recommendations. Ensure clothes have enough room to move freely in the drum. Avoid packing items too tightly.
Regularly clean the lint filter, check hoses for leaks, and clean the drum. Also, inspect the power cord for damage and make sure all connections are secure.
Unplug the unit for a few minutes, then plug it back in. This can help reset the control board. If problems persist, consult the user manual or contact customer service.
Check the drain hose for kinks or blockages. Make sure the drain pump filter is clean. Also, ensure the drain hose is installed at the proper height as outlined in the user manual.
