To properly load clothes, place them evenly around the washplate, leaving enough space for the load to move freely. Avoid overloading and make sure not to pack clothes tightly.
Ensure the power cord is plugged in, the door is closed properly, and the water supply is turned on. Check if the control lock is activated and deactivate if necessary.
Run the Clean Washer cycle with an affresh® Washer Cleaner tablet or liquid chlorine bleach to remove residues and odors. Follow the instructions in the user manual for best results.
Excessive vibration may be caused by an unbalanced load. Stop the cycle, redistribute the clothes evenly, and restart the cycle. Ensure the machine is level on the floor.
Regularly clean the washer’s interior and dispensers, check hoses for wear, and keep the machine level. Run a maintenance wash cycle monthly to prevent buildup and odors.
Remove the dispenser drawer and rinse it under warm water to clear any blockages. Ensure the drawer is dry before reinserting it into the washing machine.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Ensure the drain filter is clean, and verify the pump is functioning correctly. Test the machine with a small load to see if the issue persists.
Refer to the user manual to identify the error code and follow the troubleshooting steps provided. If the issue remains unresolved, contact Whirlpool customer support for assistance.
Leave the washer door slightly open after each cycle to allow air circulation. Regularly clean the door seal and run the Clean Washer cycle monthly with affresh® cleaner.
Use hot water for white and heavily soiled items, warm water for colorfast fabrics, and cold water for delicate or lightly soiled clothes to save energy and prevent shrinking.
