The best picture settings vary based on personal preference, but a good starting point is using the Calibrated or Calibrated Dark picture mode and adjusting the backlight, contrast, and brightness to your liking.
To connect external speakers, use the audio output ports on the TV, such as the HDMI ARC, optical audio out, or 3.5mm audio jack. Ensure the TV's audio settings are configured to output sound through the correct port.
If the picture is blurry, check the cable connections and ensure the input resolution is compatible with the TV. Adjust the sharpness setting and make sure the content is being displayed in HD or higher resolution.
To enable closed captioning, press the Menu button, go to Channels, select Closed Captions, and choose the desired captioning option (CC1, CC2, etc.).
If the remote is not working, replace the batteries and ensure there is no obstruction between the remote and the TV. You can also try resetting the remote by removing the batteries and pressing each button once.
