To start a wash cycle, load your dishes, add detergent, close the door, select your desired wash cycle using the control panel, and press the start button.
Ensure that the dishwasher is properly plugged in, the door is fully closed, and the water supply is turned on. Also, check the circuit breaker and reset it if necessary.
Remove the bottom rack, locate the filter at the base, twist it counterclockwise to remove, and rinse it under running water to remove debris.
Ensure that the rinse aid dispenser is filled. Select a heated drying option if available and check that the water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C) for optimal drying.
Clean the filter, check for food debris in the bottom of the dishwasher, and run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of vinegar.
Check for overloading, ensure the door seal is clean and intact, and inspect the hoses and connections for any leaks or damage.
Ensure that no items are obstructing the spray arms, and check that the dishwasher is level. Inspect for any loose parts or debris in the pump area.
To reset the dishwasher, turn off the power by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker for a few minutes, then restore power and restart the cycle.
Regularly clean the filter, check and clean the spray arms, inspect door seals for wear, and ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled.
Ensure proper loading of dishes, use the recommended amount of detergent, and regularly clean the filter to prevent clogs. Check that the water temperature is adequate.
