To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up and down arrows to set the desired temperature for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
Check to ensure the vents inside the refrigerator are not blocked by food items. Also, verify that the temperature settings are correct and clean the condenser coils if necessary.
The water filter should be replaced approximately every six months or when the indicator light turns on, whichever comes first.
Use a solution of mild dish soap and water to clean the interior shelves and walls. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to prevent damage.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water supply line is connected and not blocked. Also, check if the freezer temperature is set to the correct level.
Inspect the water supply line and connections for any leaks. Check the drain pan and the defrost drain tube for blockages or cracks.
To reset the alarm, press the alarm reset button on the control panel. If the alarm continues, ensure the doors are closed properly and the temperature settings are adequate.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the condenser coils, checking door seals for tightness, replacing the water filter, and ensuring the interior is clean.
Unplug the refrigerator and remove the light cover. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Unusual noises can result from the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating against each other, or the compressor and fans operating. Check the leveling and ensure there are no loose items.
