To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up and down arrows to set the desired temperature for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
The ideal temperature for the refrigerator compartment is between 35°F and 38°F, while the freezer should be set between 0°F and 5°F.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the temperature settings are correct. Clean the condenser coils and ensure the door seals are tight. If the issue persists, contact a professional technician.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 months to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Check if the defrost drain is clogged or frozen and clear it if necessary. Also, ensure the water filter is properly installed and not damaged.
To change the water filter, locate it inside the refrigerator compartment. Twist the old filter counterclockwise to remove it, and then insert the new filter by twisting it clockwise until it is secure.
Noises can be caused by the refrigerator being unlevel, items inside vibrating, or the condenser fan motor. Ensure the refrigerator is level, items are not touching each other, and inspect the fan motor for any issues.
To manually defrost, remove all food items and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt. Clean and dry the compartment before plugging the refrigerator back in.
Inspect the door gasket for any signs of damage or debris. Clean the gasket with warm, soapy water. If the gasket is damaged, it may need to be replaced.
Ensure the refrigerator is not overfilled to allow proper air circulation. Keep the door seals clean and intact, and set the temperature to the recommended settings. Regularly clean the condenser coils and defrost the freezer if ice build-up occurs.
