To reset the Viking FDW300WS dishwasher, simply press the 'Cancel/Drain' button, wait for the dishwasher to drain, and then turn it off. Wait a few minutes before turning it back on.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Also, inspect the dishwasher's filter and drain pump for any debris or blockages. Clean them thoroughly to ensure proper drainage.
Ensure that the rinse aid dispenser is filled, as rinse aid helps water to sheet off dishes. Additionally, use the 'Heated Dry' option if available for better drying results.
Loud noises can be caused by items in the dishwasher rattling against each other. Ensure dishes are loaded properly and check for any loose items or utensils that might be hitting the spray arm.
Regularly clean the filter to prevent clogs, check the spray arms for blockages, and wipe down the door seals to maintain a proper seal. Run a cleaning cycle with dishwasher cleaner monthly.
Ensure the dishwasher is properly plugged in and the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Check the door latch to make sure it is securely closed, and inspect the control panel for any error codes.
Check the door gasket for damage or debris, ensure the dishwasher is level, and inspect the water inlet valve and hoses for leaks. Replace any components if necessary.
Remove the lower dish rack to access the filter. Twist the filter counterclockwise to remove it, then rinse it under warm water to remove debris. Reinstall the filter by twisting it clockwise.
Ensure the spray arms are not blocked and that dishes are loaded correctly without overcrowding. Check if the detergent dispenser is functioning and use the correct amount of detergent.
Open the rinse aid dispenser cover and use a flat-blade screwdriver to adjust the setting. Turn the dial to increase or decrease the amount of rinse aid dispensed per cycle.
