To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up or down arrows to set the desired temperature for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
Check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the doors are sealing properly and the vents inside are not blocked. If the issue persists, consider cleaning the condenser coils or contacting customer support.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 months to ensure efficient operation. Use a vacuum or a soft brush to remove dust and debris from the coils.
The Viking FDBB5361 features an automatic defrost system. However, if manual defrosting is needed, turn off the refrigerator and remove all items. Allow the ice to melt naturally. Wipe away excess water before turning the appliance back on.
Pooling water may be due to a clogged defrost drain. Clear the drain with warm water or a mild detergent to restore proper function.
To replace the water filter, locate it inside the refrigerator. Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it locks. Run water through the dispenser for a few minutes to clear any air or impurities.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water supply is connected. Check if the ice maker is jammed or if the filter needs replacement. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact support.
To change the light bulb, unplug the refrigerator. Remove the light cover, unscrew the old bulb, and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Replace the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the condenser coils, checking door seals for damage, replacing the water filter every 6 months, and ensuring proper air circulation inside.
To prevent odors, store food in sealed containers, clean spills promptly, and use baking soda or a commercial refrigerator deodorizer. Regularly check and discard expired items.
