Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, ensuring they do not block the spray arms. Place cups and glasses on the top rack, and use the cutlery basket for utensils, ensuring they are evenly spaced for thorough cleaning.
Check for clogs in the drain hose and garbage disposal. Clean the filter and ensure it is properly installed. If the problem persists, inspect the air gap and ensure the dishwasher is level.
Regularly clean the filter and check for trapped food particles. Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar to remove odors. Ensure there are no blockages in the drain.
Clean the filter regularly, check and clean the spray arms, and inspect the door seal for any debris or damage. Ensure the drain area is clear and run a cleaning cycle monthly.
To reset the dishwasher, turn off the power for a few minutes by unplugging it or switching off the circuit breaker. Then, restore power and select a new cycle to start.
The white residue is likely due to hard water. Use a rinse aid and adjust the dishwasher's water softening system if applicable. Ensure you are using the correct amount of detergent.
Inspect the spray arms for obstructions and ensure they rotate freely. Check for items protruding from the racks. Verify that the dishwasher is level and that the pump and motor area is clear of debris.
Remove the lower rack and twist the filter assembly counterclockwise to remove it. Rinse the filter under running water and use a soft brush to clean off debris. Reassemble by placing the filter back and turning it clockwise to secure.
Use the Heavy Duty cycle for heavily soiled items. This cycle uses higher temperatures and longer wash times to effectively clean stubborn food residues.
Ensure you are using a rinse aid and selecting a heated drying option if available. Open the door slightly at the end of the cycle to let steam escape.
