To reset the Viking DDB325E Dishwasher, press and hold the 'Cancel' button for 3 seconds. This will cancel the current cycle and reset the dishwasher.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Clean the filter and ensure the garbage disposal connection is clear. If the problem persists, inspect the drain pump for blockages.
Remove the bottom rack, twist the filter counterclockwise, and lift it out. Rinse it under warm water and use a soft brush to remove debris. Reinstall by twisting it clockwise until secure.
Ensure you are using a rinse aid and the correct amount of detergent. Hard water can cause spots, so consider using a water softener if necessary.
The 'rinse aid' indicator light means that the rinse aid dispenser is low and needs to be refilled. This helps prevent water spots and improve drying.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, and smaller items like cups and bowls on the top rack. Ensure that items are not blocking the spray arms.
Use the 'Heavy' or 'Pots & Pans' cycle for heavily soiled dishes. This cycle uses higher water temperatures and additional wash time for better cleaning.
Clean the spray arms every 3-4 months. Remove them and rinse under water, using a toothpick to clear blocked holes. Reattach securely after cleaning.
Inspect for loose items in the dishwasher. Ensure spray arms are not hitting dishes. Check for debris in the pump and clean it if needed.
Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Check that the dishwasher is plugged in and that the circuit breaker is not tripped. Verify the water supply is turned on.
