The ideal tire pressure for the TVS Raider Motorcycle is 29 psi for the front tire and 33 psi for the rear tire. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold for accurate measurements.
It is recommended to change the engine oil every 3,000 to 4,000 kilometers or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Regular oil changes help in maintaining engine performance and longevity.
For optimal performance, use a high-quality 10W-30 synthetic engine oil that meets or exceeds the API SL and JASO MA2 specifications.
To improve fuel efficiency, maintain proper tire pressure, perform regular engine maintenance, avoid aggressive acceleration, and ensure that the air filter is clean.
If the engine overheating warning light comes on, safely stop the motorcycle and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down before checking the coolant level and radiator for any leaks or blockages. Consult a mechanic if the issue persists.
To adjust the chain tension, first, place the motorcycle on the center stand. Loosen the axle nut, adjust the chain tension using the adjuster bolts on both sides, ensuring equal adjustment on both sides, and then tighten the axle nut securely.
Difficulty in starting can be due to several reasons including a weak battery, clogged fuel system, or faulty spark plug. Check each of these components and replace or repair as necessary.
The TVS Raider should be serviced every 3,000 kilometers or 6 months, whichever comes first. Regular servicing includes checking and replacing fluids, inspecting brakes, and ensuring all components are in good working condition.
Unusual engine noises can be caused by loose components, inadequate lubrication, or worn-out parts. Inspect the motorcycle for any loose nuts or bolts, check the oil level, and examine the engine parts for wear and tear.
If the headlights are dim, check the battery voltage and ensure it is fully charged. Also, inspect the headlight bulb and electrical connections for any signs of wear or corrosion. Replace the bulb if necessary.
