To check the engine oil level, park the motorcycle on a flat surface and let the engine cool. Use the dipstick located on the right side of the engine. Ensure the oil level is between the minimum and maximum marks.
The recommended tire pressure is 25 psi for the front tire and 28 psi for the rear tire for solo riding. Adjust according to load and conditions.
To improve fuel efficiency, maintain a steady speed, avoid sudden acceleration, keep the tires properly inflated, and perform regular maintenance checks.
A squealing noise may indicate worn brake pads or dirt on the braking surface. Inspect the brake pads and clean the discs. Replace the pads if necessary.
Regular servicing is recommended every 3,000 to 4,000 kilometers or as per the manufacturer's guidelines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Use a high-quality, ethylene glycol-based coolant with anti-corrosion properties. Refer to the owner's manual for specific recommendations.
To adjust the chain tension, place the bike on the center stand, loosen the axle nut, adjust the chain adjusters evenly on both sides, ensuring proper slack, then retighten the axle nut securely.
Check the battery connections, ensure there is fuel in the tank, and inspect the fuses. Also, check the kill switch position and side stand sensor. If issues persist, consult a professional mechanic.
Regularly check the battery terminals for corrosion, keep the battery charged, especially during long periods of inactivity, and top up with distilled water if it's a lead-acid battery.
Signs include reduced engine performance, increased fuel consumption, and unusual engine noises. Inspect the air filter for dirt and damage, and replace it if necessary.
