To check the engine oil level, park the motorcycle on a flat surface and ensure the engine is cool. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, and reinsert it without screwing it in. Remove it again to check the oil level, which should be between the minimum and maximum marks.
The recommended tire pressure for TVS Radeon is 25 psi for the front tire and 28 psi for the rear tire when riding solo. Adjust the rear tire pressure to 32 psi when carrying a pillion.
It is recommended to service the TVS Radeon every 3,000 km or every 3 months, whichever comes first. Regular servicing ensures optimal performance and longevity of the motorcycle.
If your TVS Radeon is not starting, check the battery connections, ensure there is fuel, and inspect the spark plug for wear or damage. If the issue persists, consult a professional mechanic.
To improve fuel efficiency, maintain steady speeds, avoid sudden acceleration and deceleration, ensure proper tire pressure, and keep the motorcycle well-serviced.
The recommended engine oil for TVS Radeon is 10W-30 grade oil, which provides optimal lubrication under various conditions.
To adjust the chain tension, place the motorcycle on its center stand, loosen the axle nuts, and adjust the tensioner bolts on either side of the swingarm equally until the desired tension is achieved. Ensure the chain has a slack of about 25-30 mm.
Common reasons for overheating include low engine oil levels, dirty air filters, incorrect spark plug gaps, and blocked exhausts. Regular maintenance can help prevent these issues.
To replace the headlight bulb, remove the headlight assembly by unscrewing the mounting bolts, disconnect the wiring harness, and replace the bulb with a compatible one. Reassemble in reverse order.
If the brakes feel spongy, check the brake fluid level and top it up if necessary. Inspect for air in the brake lines and bleed the brakes if required. Consult a mechanic if the problem persists.
