To adjust the chain tension, first place the motorcycle on a rear paddock stand. Loosen the axle nut slightly, then adjust the chain adjusters on both sides evenly until the chain has about 25-30mm of slack in the middle. Tighten the axle nut and recheck the tension.
The recommended tire pressure for the TVS Apache RR 310 is 29 psi for the front tire and 33 psi for the rear tire for solo riding. Adjust accordingly if carrying a pillion or extra load.
It is recommended to change the engine oil every 3000-3500 kilometers or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Regular oil changes will ensure optimal engine performance and longevity.
If the engine overheats, stop the motorcycle safely and let it cool down. Check coolant levels and for any leaks. If the problem persists, have the cooling system checked by a professional technician.
To improve fuel efficiency, ensure that the tire pressure is correct, perform regular maintenance, use high-quality fuel, and avoid aggressive acceleration and braking. Consistent riding at moderate speeds also helps.
Use a chain cleaning brush and a suitable chain cleaner to remove dirt and grime. Once clean, apply a good quality chain lubricant evenly across the chain while rotating the rear wheel. Wipe off any excess lubricant.
For off-season storage, clean the motorcycle thoroughly, fill the fuel tank, and add a fuel stabilizer. Disconnect the battery, and store the bike in a dry, covered area. Elevate the tires to prevent flat spots.
First, check the battery charge and the condition of the fuses. Ensure that the kill switch is in the 'run' position. Verify that there is fuel in the tank and that the side stand is up if in gear. If these are all in order, further diagnostics may be needed.
Regularly inspect the brakes, tires, chain tension, lights, and fluid levels such as oil, coolant, and brake fluid. Also, check for any unusual noises or vibrations during rides.
The Apache RR 310 features multiple ride modes such as Urban, Rain, Sport, and Track. These can be customized via the instrument cluster by navigating the menu and selecting the preferred mode based on riding conditions.
