To set up your Trek Sensor 1.0, first install the computer on your handlebar using the provided mount. Then, attach the speed sensor to the front wheel hub and the cadence sensor to the crank arm. Follow the instruction manual to enter your specific wheel size and other settings into the computer.
To change the battery, remove the computer from the mount. Open the battery compartment using a coin and replace the old battery with a new CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive side faces upwards.
If your bike computer is not displaying speed, check if the speed sensor is properly aligned and within the required distance from the magnet. Ensure the battery in the sensor is not depleted.
If the display is blank, check the battery in the bike computer to ensure it is not dead. If the battery is fine, perform a reset by removing and reinserting the battery.
To reset the trip distance, navigate to the trip distance screen and hold the reset button until the display shows zero.
Consult the Trek Sensor 1.0 manual to find the specific settings for your wheel size. Typically, it involves measuring the circumference of your wheel and entering it into the computer.
To switch between metric and imperial units, access the settings menu on your bike computer and select the unit of measurement you prefer.
Regularly check the battery levels of the computer and sensors, clean the display and sensors to remove dirt and debris, and ensure all mounts and sensors are securely attached.
To calibrate the cadence sensor, ensure it is securely attached to the crank arm, and follow the calibration instructions in the user manual to pair it with the computer.
The Trek Sensor 1.0 is designed to be water-resistant. However, avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain or submersion. Ensure all battery compartments are sealed properly to prevent water ingress.
