The 8IGHT-E 4.0 Race Kit features a revised suspension geometry, adjustable aluminum chassis, lightweight drivetrain components, and a high-performance shock package designed for competitive racing.
To break in the shocks, fill them with oil, cycle them several times to remove air bubbles, then let them sit overnight. This ensures consistent performance and smooth operation.
Check the batteries in both the transmitter and the car, ensure the receiver is properly bound to the transmitter, and inspect all connections for any loose wires or damage.
Regularly clean and lubricate the gears and driveshafts, inspect for wear and tear, and replace any damaged parts to ensure smooth and efficient performance.
Adjust the shock oil viscosity and spring tension according to the track surface. Softer setups are generally better for bumpy tracks, while stiffer setups work well on smooth surfaces.
Use high-capacity LiPo batteries, properly balance charge them, and ensure your motor and ESC are optimized for efficiency to extend runtime and performance.
Clean the car thoroughly, check for any loose screws or damaged parts, inspect the drivetrain and suspension components, and recharge the batteries for the next use.
Slide a piece of paper between the pinion and spur gear, tighten the motor screws, and then remove the paper to ensure the gears are properly meshed without being too tight or loose.
Check the steering servo for proper operation, ensure the steering linkage is unobstructed, and verify that the servo saver is properly adjusted and not too loose.
Clean the vehicle thoroughly, remove the batteries and store them at a safe charge level, and keep the car in a dry, cool place to prevent damage from moisture or extreme temperatures.
