To bind your receiver, power it on while holding the bind button. Then, set your transmitter to bind mode. Once the receiver's LED stops flashing and remains solid, the binding process is complete.
Ensure both the receiver and transmitter are powered on and bound correctly. Check for any loose connections and verify that the receiver’s antennas are positioned correctly.
Activate the range test mode on your transmitter, which usually involves reducing the power output. Walk away from the model, ensuring that you maintain control for at least 30 meters.
Connect the receiver to your computer via a compatible interface or programmer. Use the manufacturer's software to check for and install any available updates.
The SPMAR7100 is compatible with most Spektrum DSM2 and DSMX transmitters. Check your transmitter's user manual for compatibility details.
Check for any obstructions or sources of interference near your model. Make sure the receiver antennas are correctly oriented and not damaged. Perform a range test to ensure proper function.
Mount the receiver using foam or Velcro to minimize vibrations. Ensure that the antennas are positioned at 90-degree angles to each other for optimal reception.
Keep the receiver protected from moisture and extreme temperatures. Regularly check for any physical damage and update the firmware to the latest version.
A solid LED indicates a successful bind and proper operation, while a flashing LED may indicate binding mode or signal loss. Refer to the manual for detailed LED codes.
To reset the receiver, power it on, then press and hold the bind button until the LED flashes rapidly. This clears any previous binding data.
