To set up your Sony XR-50X90J, plug in the TV and connect it to your network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language, connect to the network, and sign in to your Google account.
First, check if the batteries need replacement. If the problem persists, reset the remote by removing the batteries and pressing the power button for 3 seconds. Reinsert the batteries and try again.
You can connect external speakers using the HDMI ARC port, optical audio output, or via Bluetooth. Configure the audio settings on the TV to route the sound through the chosen output.
Check if the TV is muted or the volume is too low. Ensure the audio output is set correctly in the TV settings. If using external speakers, make sure they are powered on and connected properly.
Go to Settings > System > Software Update. If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it. Ensure the TV is connected to the internet.
For optimal picture quality, set the Picture Mode to 'Custom' or 'Cinema'. Adjust the Brightness, Contrast, and Color settings to your preference. Enable 'MotionFlow' to reduce motion blur.
Restart your TV and router. Ensure you are connecting to the correct network and the password is accurate. Check for any firmware updates that might resolve connectivity issues.
Go to Settings > Device Preferences > Reset. Choose 'Factory data reset' and confirm your choice. This will erase all settings and data on the TV, restoring it to its original state.
Press the Google Assistant button on the remote to start using voice commands. Ensure the TV is connected to the internet and signed into a Google account for full functionality.
Check the HDMI cables and connections as loose or faulty cables can cause flickering. Adjust the Picture settings or reset them to default. Ensure the TV firmware is up to date.
