To connect your Sony XBR-49X950H to Wi-Fi, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi, then select your network and enter the password.
To perform a factory reset, go to Settings > Device Preferences > Reset, then select 'Factory data reset' and follow the on-screen instructions.
Ensure the TV is plugged in and the power outlet is working. Try unplugging the TV for a few minutes, then plug it back in and attempt to turn it on.
To update the software, go to Settings > Device Preferences > About > System update. Follow the prompts to check for and install updates.
To adjust picture settings, press the 'Home' button, go to Settings > Display & Sound > Picture, and customize settings like brightness, contrast, and color.
Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the screen. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or water directly on the screen.
To enable HDMI-CEC, go to Settings > External Inputs > HDMI CEC Settings, and turn on 'CEC'. This allows connected devices to communicate with each other.
Check the volume level and ensure the TV is not muted. Verify that the correct audio output is selected, and check all cable connections.
Go to Settings > Security & Restrictions > Parental controls, and follow the prompts to set restrictions and create a PIN.
Replace the batteries in the remote and ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV. Try pairing the remote again if necessary.
