To pair your Sony SBH24 with a smartphone, turn on the headset by pressing and holding the power button until the indicator light flashes blue. Then, enable Bluetooth on your phone and select 'SBH24' from the list of available devices. Follow any additional prompts to complete the pairing process.
Ensure the charging cable is properly connected to both the headset and a power source. If the device still doesn't charge, try using a different cable or charger. Also, check for debris or damage in the charging port. If the problem persists, contact Sony support.
To reset your SBH24, turn off the device and then press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds until the indicator light flashes green and then blue. This will restore the device to its factory settings.
The Sony SBH24 can be paired with multiple devices but can only connect to one device at a time. To switch devices, disconnect from the current device and connect to the desired one through the Bluetooth settings.
The Sony SBH24 offers up to 6 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. To maximize battery life, turn off the headset when not in use and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures.
Firmware updates for the SBH24 are managed via the Sony Headphones Connect app. Connect your device to the app, and if an update is available, you will receive a notification with instructions on how to proceed.
Ensure your SBH24 is within range of the connected device and that there are no obstacles causing interference. Check if the battery level is sufficient, and consider restarting both the headset and the audio source.
Use the multi-function button to play or pause music. To skip tracks, double press the button for the next track, or triple press for the previous track. Volume can be adjusted using the volume buttons on the side.
Ensure the microphone is not blocked or damaged. Check your phone's settings to ensure the SBH24 is selected as the audio input device. Restart the headset and the phone if necessary.
The Sony SBH24 is not officially rated as water-resistant. It is advised to keep the device away from water and moisture to prevent damage.
