To update the software, connect the scanner to a Wi-Fi network, navigate to the settings menu, and select 'Software Update'. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the latest software version.
First, check if the battery is charged. Connect the scanner to a power source and ensure the charging indicator is on. If it still won't power on, perform a soft reset by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds.
Use the OBD-II cable to connect the scanner to the vehicle's DLC port, typically located under the dashboard. Ensure the connection is secure, and the scanner will automatically detect the vehicle.
Calibration can be performed through the settings menu. Select 'Calibration', and follow the prompts to calibrate the touch screen and sensors as needed.
To perform a factory reset, go to the settings menu, select 'System', and choose 'Factory Reset'. Confirm the action and wait for the scanner to reset to its original settings.
