First, check the power cable connections and ensure the power source is active. If the issue persists, inspect the fuse located near the power input and replace if necessary.
Download the latest software from the Simrad website onto a USB drive. Insert the USB into the controller's USB port, and navigate to 'Settings' > 'Software Update' to initiate the update process.
To calibrate, go to 'Settings' > 'Calibration' and follow the on-screen instructions. Ensure that the device is in a stable environment and not subject to vibrations during calibration.
Check that all network cables are securely connected. Verify the network settings under 'Settings' > 'Network'. Restart the controller if necessary. If issues persist, consult the network administrator.
Perform regular software updates and clean the device's exterior with a dry cloth. Inspect cables and connections for wear or damage, and replace as needed.
Access the 'Installation' menu in 'Settings', select 'New Installation', and follow the prompts to input vessel-specific parameters and calibrate sensors as required.
Perform a soft reset by holding the power button for 5 seconds. If the issue remains, disconnect the power supply for 1 minute before reconnecting it.
Insert a USB drive into the controller, go to 'Settings' > 'Backup', and select 'Backup to USB'. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the exterior surfaces. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials that can damage the display and controls.
