To set the time, pull the crown out to the second click position, rotate the crown to set the correct time, and then push it back to the normal position.
Inaccuracies might be due to a dying battery or exposure to strong magnetic fields. It's recommended to replace the battery or keep the watch away from such fields.
It's advised to have the battery replaced by a professional to avoid damaging the watch. However, if you choose to do it yourself, ensure the watch is opened with the correct tools and replace the battery with a compatible type.
A skipping second hand often indicates a low battery. Replace the battery to resolve this issue.
To reset the chronograph, press the bottom button to stop it, then press the top button to reset the hands to the zero position.
The Seiko V657 typically has a water resistance of 100 meters. It's suitable for swimming and snorkeling but not for diving.
Seiko recommends servicing the watch every 3 to 5 years to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
It is not advisable to wear the watch in the shower as hot water and steam can damage the seals and affect water resistance.
Clean the watch with a soft, damp cloth. For metal bracelets, use a toothbrush with soapy water, then dry thoroughly. Avoid using solvents or chemicals.
If the crown is stuck, do not force it. Try turning it gently back and forth. If it remains stuck, it is best to take it to a professional watchmaker to avoid damage.
