To set the time, pull the crown out to the first click. Rotate the crown to set the desired hour and minute. Push the crown back in once the correct time is set.
Press the mode button located on the side of the watch to toggle between analog and digital displays.
First, check the battery level as a low battery can affect the digital display. If the battery is fine, try resetting the watch by holding down the mode button for a few seconds.
Press the mode button until you reach the alarm setting mode. Use the adjust button to set the desired alarm time, then confirm by pressing the mode button again.
To improve battery life, ensure that the light and sound functions are used sparingly. Regularly check for updates or instructions from Seiko for any maintenance tips.
It's recommended to have the battery changed by a professional to ensure the water resistance is maintained. However, if you choose to do it yourself, carefully remove the back cover and replace the old battery with a new one of the same type.
'CHR' stands for chronograph mode, which allows you to use the stopwatch functions of the watch.
The Seiko V072 is water-resistant up to a certain depth. Refer to the manual for specific water resistance details and ensure the crown is fully pushed in before submerging in water.
To reset the stopwatch, stop it first by pressing the start/stop button, then press the reset button to return the stopwatch to zero.
If your watch is running slow, it might be time to change the battery or have it serviced. Ensure that the hands are not obstructed and that the watch is properly maintained.
