To set the time, press and hold the 'Mode' button until the time display starts flashing. Use the 'Start/Stop' button to adjust the hours and the 'Split/Reset' button to adjust the minutes. Press 'Mode' again to save the settings.
Ensure the stopwatch is not in 'Time' or 'Alarm' mode. Press the 'Mode' button to switch to 'Chronograph' mode, then press the 'Start/Stop' button to begin timing. If it still does not start, check the battery.
To reset the stopwatch, ensure it is stopped by pressing the 'Start/Stop' button. Then, press the 'Split/Reset' button to clear the time to zero.
A faded display usually indicates a low battery. Replace the battery with a new one, ensuring that it is properly installed.
Press and hold the 'Mode' button until the settings menu appears. Use the 'Start/Stop' button to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour formats, then press 'Mode' to confirm.
The Seiko S05A Stopwatch is not water-resistant. Avoid using it in wet conditions or exposing it to moisture to prevent damage.
To record a split time, press the 'Split/Reset' button while the stopwatch is running. The current time will freeze, but the stopwatch will continue timing in the background. Press 'Split/Reset' again to return to the running time.
The Seiko S05A Stopwatch uses a CR2032 lithium battery. Ensure you use the correct type for optimal performance.
To silence the alarm, press any button when the alarm sounds. To turn off the alarm completely, enter the alarm setting mode and press 'Start/Stop' until the alarm indicator disappears.
If the buttons are unresponsive, try resetting the stopwatch by removing and reinserting the battery. If the issue persists, consult the user manual or contact Seiko customer support.
