To set the time, pull the crown out to the second click. Turn the crown to adjust the hour and minute hands. Push the crown back in to start the watch.
To manually wind the watch, turn the crown clockwise in its normal position (not pulled out) for about 20 turns to fully wind the mainspring.
If the watch stops, try winding it manually. If it still doesn't work, it may need servicing by a professional watchmaker to check for mechanical issues.
To adjust the date, pull the crown to the first click and turn it clockwise to set the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM as it may affect the mechanism.
The Seiko 4R57 watch has a power reserve of approximately 41 hours when fully wound.
It is recommended to service your Seiko 4R57 watch every 3 to 5 years to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
The Seiko 4R57 generally offers water resistance up to 100 meters, making it suitable for swimming and snorkeling but not for diving.
To clean your Seiko 4R57, use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the case and bracelet. Avoid using soap or chemicals, and ensure the crown is pushed in to maintain water resistance.
If the watch is running fast or slow, it may require regulation by a professional watchmaker. Avoid exposing it to magnetic fields and extreme temperatures.
The model number is usually engraved on the case back of the watch. It consists of a series of letters and numbers unique to each model.
