To connect your Samsung J5190 Series TV to Wi-Fi, go to Settings > Network > Network Settings. Select Wireless, choose your Wi-Fi network, and enter the password if prompted.
First, replace the batteries in your remote. If it still doesn't work, try resetting the remote by removing the batteries and pressing the power button for 8 seconds. Reinsert the batteries and try again.
To update the software, press the Menu button on your remote. Navigate to Support > Software Update > Update Now. Ensure your TV is connected to the internet for this process.
