Samsung J4050 Quick Setup Guide

To connect your Samsung J4050 TV to Wi-Fi, go to Settings > General > Network > Open Network Settings > Wireless. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Check if the TV is plugged in and the power outlet is functioning. Try using a different power cable or outlet. If the problem persists, contact Samsung support.
Go to Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now. Ensure your TV is connected to the internet for the update process.
Navigate to Settings > General > Reset. Enter your PIN (default is 0000) and confirm the reset. This will restore factory settings.
Ensure the volume is not muted and is turned up. Check the audio output settings in the menu and ensure external devices are properly connected.
Use an HDMI ARC cable or optical audio cable to connect your external speakers to the corresponding port on the TV. Configure the audio settings in the TV menu to output sound to external speakers.
Adjust the picture settings by going to Settings > Picture. You can tweak the brightness, contrast, sharpness, and color to your preference. Consider using the built-in picture presets as a starting point.
Replace the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV. If it still doesn't work, try resetting the remote by holding the power button for 10 seconds.
Press the Menu button on your remote, go to Settings > Accessibility > Caption Settings. Turn on captions and select your preferred language.
Ensure your TV is set to the correct source/input. Perform an auto-tune by going to Settings > Broadcasting > Auto Tuning Settings. This will scan and store available channels.
