To assemble the Salter EK3102RG Hand Blender, attach the blending attachment to the motor unit by aligning the arrow on the attachment with the arrow on the motor unit. Rotate the attachment clockwise until it locks securely in place.
If the hand blender does not turn on, check if it is properly plugged into a working power outlet. Ensure that all parts are correctly assembled and the power button is firmly pressed. If the problem persists, inspect the cord and plug for damage.
Detach the blending attachment from the motor unit. Wash the blending attachment in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
The Salter EK3102RG Hand Blender is not designed for crushing ice. Using it for this purpose may damage the blades or motor. Consider using a dedicated ice-crushing appliance instead.
Overheating can occur if the blender is used continuously for extended periods. Allow it to cool down between uses. If overheating persists, ensure the vents are not blocked and the appliance is not overloaded.
Store the hand blender in a dry place, preferably in its original packaging or a dedicated storage case. Ensure that the cord is neatly wrapped and that the appliance is out of reach of children.
Unusual noises may indicate a blockage or damage. Disconnect the blender from the power source and inspect the blades and attachments for obstructions. If the noise persists, contact Salter customer support.
The blending attachment is dishwasher safe. However, the motor unit should never be placed in the dishwasher. Always follow the manufacturer's cleaning instructions for best results.
To ensure longevity, avoid overloading the blender and do not use it for tasks beyond its intended use. Regularly clean and dry all parts thoroughly after use, and store it safely.
It is recommended to operate the hand blender in bursts of no more than 1 minute, followed by a 3-minute rest to prevent overheating and ensure optimal performance.
