To assemble the Salter EK2312, first ensure the unit is unplugged. Attach the blade assembly to the blending bottle, then align and twist the bottle onto the motor base until securely locked.
If the blender leaks, check that the blade assembly is properly tightened onto the bottle. Ensure the sealing ring is in place and undamaged. Do not overfill the bottle beyond the max fill line.
To clean the blender, disassemble the blade and bottle. Wash them with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the base in water.
The maximum blending time recommended is 1 minute continuously. Allow the motor to rest for 1 minute between each blending cycle to prevent overheating.
Ensure the bottle is properly locked onto the motor base. Check the power supply and ensure the plug is securely connected. Inspect the power cord for any damage.
It is not recommended to blend hot liquids in the EK2312. Allow liquids to cool down to a safe temperature before blending to prevent damage or injury.
If the blades are not rotating smoothly, check for food blockages around the blade assembly. Ensure that the blade is properly attached and that there is no overloading of ingredients.
To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean the blades and bottle. Avoid overloading ingredients and adhere to recommended blending times. Ensure no liquid enters the motor housing.
The Salter EK2312 is not designed for crushing large quantities of ice. It can handle small, pre-crushed ice with caution. Use short pulses to avoid strain on the motor.
Regularly inspect the sealing ring for wear and replace if necessary. Clean the blades and bottle after each use. Store the blender in a dry place and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures.
