Ensure the saw is placed on a stable workbench. Use a square to check that the blade is perpendicular to the table. Adjust the miter and bevel angles according to your cut requirements, and lock them in place.
Unplug the saw from the power outlet. Loosen the blade bolt with a wrench, remove the blade washer, and carefully replace the blade. Ensure the blade teeth are facing the correct direction, then tighten the bolt securely.
Check the power supply and ensure the saw is plugged in securely. Inspect the power cord for any damage. If the issue persists, examine the fuse or circuit breaker associated with the outlet.
Regularly clean the saw to remove dust and debris. Lubricate moving parts with a suitable oil. Check for loose bolts and tighten them as needed. Inspect the blade for wear and replace it if necessary.
Unusual noises might indicate a loose blade or worn bearings. Check the blade for tightness and inspect it for damage. If noise persists, consult a professional technician for further diagnosis.
Loosen the bevel lock lever and tilt the saw head to the desired angle. Use the bevel scale to set the precise angle needed. Tighten the bevel lock lever to secure the position before making the cut.
Always wear safety goggles and hearing protection. Ensure the work area is clean and free of obstructions. Never operate the saw without the blade guard in place. Keep hands away from the blade path during operation.
Connect a shop vac or dust extraction system to the saw’s dust port. Ensure all connections are tight and check for blockages in the dust collection pathway regularly.
Verify that the miter and bevel angles are correctly set to 0 degrees. Use a square to check the blade alignment and adjust if necessary. Inspect the fence for alignment and ensure it is parallel to the blade.
Secure the saw arm in the locked position and ensure the blade guard is down. Use the carry handle to transport the saw and avoid dropping or bumping it during movement.
